Kronborg Castle, Denmark

Kronborg Castle is located in Helsingør (Elsinore), a town north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the setting for William Shakespear's Hamlet, and registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Back of the castle, overlooking Øresund, the sound between Denmark and Sweden. The cannons guards the narrow sound, which is one of the few outlets of the Baltic Sea.

Back to Reykjavik, Iceland

We flew back to Reykjavik in the afternoon of July 17, 2009, and stayed for 1 night before heading to Denmark. Here are some photos from that evening.

Perlan is a landmark building in Reykjavik. It is built on a hill with a collection of old hot water storage tanks.
