OR Tambo International Airport is a busy airport with many tourists. There were many people waiting to pickup travelers as well as heavily armed security personnel.
Our first destination was Constitution Hill in Johannesburg. Jacaranda trees were in full bloom along the way.

People working at tourist places are very friendly, and would agree to take photos with you if you ask.
Afterwards, we had a Johannesburg city tour on our tour bus. We were told that it was not safe for a large group of tourist to go through downtown Johannesburg, so the tour was mainly looking at major buildings of Johannesburg from the freeway.
The most common transportation for local people are minibus taxis, which have no marked bus stops. People stand on the side of road along the bus route and use hand signals if they need a ride.
A commuter rail also run in Johannesburg.
Hair salons are everywhere in South Africa. Most of them have very colorful exteriors.
Our tour guide Heather showed us the different South Africa bank notes, with depiction of the Big 5 animals.
Lunch was at Lone Star Spur in Middelburg, where we had our first free wifi connection!
Highway patrol was checking for speed on our way to Nelspruit.
Mbombela stadium (Giraffe stadium) at Nelspruit is one of sites of FIFA 2010 World Cup.
We arrived at Lowveld National Botanical Garden 15 minutes before it closed. Our tour guides told the park officials that we came all the way from Taiwan to convince them to keep the park open for us a little later than usual.
The first 10 minutes was spent at the restrooms of course. This nice walkway next to the restroom leads us to the park.
The highlight of the park was the waterfall. The sun has already set when we were there, so we had to hurry when we took our photos.
We headed for Kruger Park Lodge after a very very long day.
